Florida Standouts Michael Slusar and Nick Testa Selected to 2026 New Balance Senior All-America Game
Two of Florida’s top seniors earned national recognition as Michael Slusar and Nick Testa were selected to represent the South Team in the 21st New Balance Senior All-America Game.

Two of Florida’s top senior lacrosse players earned one of the highest honors in high school lacrosse this summer, as Michael Slusar of Community School of Naples and Nick Testa of St. Andrew’s School were selected to represent the South Team in the 2026 New Balance Senior All-America Game.
The prestigious event, now in its 21st year, brings together many of the nation’s best graduating seniors for a final showcase before beginning their college careers. The 2026 game was held July 25 at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium and broadcast nationally on ESPNU.
Michael Slusar | Community School of Naples | Goalie | Penn
Community School of Naples goalie Michael Slusar capped off his high school career with a spot between the pipes for the South. The 6-foot-6 goalie is committed to the University of Pennsylvania and is ranked No. 69 in the Class of 2026 by Inside Lacrosse.
Slusar also earned USA Lacrosse All-American honors following his senior season at CSN, during which he posted a save percentage above 50 percent and was named First Team All-Area in Southwest Florida.
He made his presence felt on the national stage as well with a handful of amazing saves agaisnt the best shooters in the country.
Nick Testa | St. Andrew’s School | Attack | Johns Hopkins
Joining Slusar on the South roster was Nick Testa, one of the most productive offensive players to ever come through Florida high school lacrosse.
The St. Andrew’s standout is committed to Johns Hopkins University and finished an outstanding senior campaign with 55 goals and 100 assists. Testa closed his four-year varsity career with 188 goals and 374 assists across 95 games and was named the 2026 USA Lacrosse High School Boys’ South Region Player of the Year and Attackman of the Year.
Testa was listed on the Senior All-America South roster and will continue his career at Johns Hopkins. The four-star recruit is ranked No. 31 overall in the Class of 2026 by Inside Lacrosse.
Representing Florida on the National Stage
Having two Florida players selected to a roster filled with many of the country’s premier recruits is another significant recognition for lacrosse in the state.
From Naples to Boca Raton, Slusar and Testa represented two of Florida’s premier high school programs while earning opportunities to continue their careers in the Ivy League and Big Ten.
Their selections add another accomplishment to two decorated high school careers — and another example of Florida talent earning recognition on lacrosse’s national stage.
